Our Story
We Love Seasons is inspired by my Danish family traditions and a love for timeless design, seasonal living and meaningful moments shared throughout the year. I grew up in Denmark with a very creative mother and a father who is still a talented handyman. Together they were constantly working on projects, either within the home, in the garden or making cordials, jams and pickles using produce grown in the garden.
My mother could often be found in the vegetable garden, knitting, painting or working at her sewing machine. Having learned to make clothes from her grandmother at the age of 14, she spent decades creating handmade pieces inspired by my own designs. Growing up surrounded by creativity, craftsmanship and seasonal living continues to inspire the We Love Seasons collections today.
Our collections for Valentine’s Day, Easter, autumn and Christmas are designed to bring warmth, timeless styling and family traditions into the home during the changing seasons.
Inspired by nature, the garden and Scandinavian interiors, our seasonal decorations are created to be enjoyed year after year, with a few new additions introduced each season. We believe in choosing timeless pieces that become part of your family celebrations and treasured memories.
Our home decor collection reflects my passion for timeless design, durability, sustainability and quality craftsmanship. Our ceramic vases and bowls are designed and made in the UK, with natural materials, earthy tones and thoughtful details at the heart of every collection.
Toward the middle of November, my mother would begin preparing our home for Christmas, starting with bringing out boxes of decorations that had been used year after year. Red felt hearts would hang by the entrance, alongside hand-painted figurines and handmade decorations created from stones dressed with knitted scarves and hats.
Each year, she would add a few new decorations, make fresh pine garlands for the dining room doors, create the traditional large advent wreath and prepare the advent candle decoration. The final and most important part was, of course, the Christmas tree, decorated by my father with traditional red baubles, lights, drums, Danish flags and fine strands of gold lametta.
At Easter, the table would be beautifully styled with yellow crocheted napkins, wooden Easter chicks and homemade traditional Danish dishes shared with family and friends. My mother would fill vases with branches collected from the garden, decorated with hand-painted eggs to create the traditional Easter tree.
Through the We Love Seasons collections, I have tried to capture the warmth, creativity and traditions that shaped my childhood during these special seasonal moments. I hope the collections bring the same feeling of warmth, tradition and seasonal living into your own home.
